Tall trees as well! (For Iceland anyway) I might have mentioned this before, but I rememebr being told an Icelandic joke by a tour guide. She said “If you’re ever lost in a Icelandic forest, do you know what to do? Stand up.” 🙂
Yes, one of the tour guides recounted that joke. Who knows? In another fifty years, maybe they’ll need a new one (unless they cut all these down for boat-building, the fate of the previous forests).
They told the same joke? That’s hilarious. It’s obviously a very popular joke in Iceland. 🙂
