London Tube closures for weekend of 26-27 April 2014

Here are this weekend’s Tube closures.

Circle line – Gloucester Road to Aldgate via Victoria

District line – Embankment to Aldgate East and Earl’s Court to Kensington (Olympia)

DLR – Poplar to Stratford

London Overground disruptions are Sunday only – late 12.30 am start on Camden Road to Richmond as well as Shepherd’s Bush to Willesden Junction ; early shutdown (21.30) between Gospel Oak and Stratford; South Tottenham to Barking running from noon; Surrey Quays to Clapham Junction closed all day Sunday.

Two marches on Saturday will mean road closures in Westminster area around Marble Arch and Trafalgar Square as well as St James Sq / Whitehall / Pall Mall.

Potential strike dates for the Tube are possible beginning next week – from around 21:00 on Monday 28 April until the morning of Thursday 1 May, as well as approx. 21:00 on Monday 5 May until the morning of Friday 9 May.

Reminders –

Embankment – Bakerloo and Northern line trains not stopping until November 2014.

Covent Garden – Exit only until mid-November 2014. Also, on Saturdays and Sundays, westbound trains not stopping.

Bond Street – Central line trains not stopping until early June.

A few rental bike docking stations are out of service.
